Two women, two countries, and a world on the brink of a revelation that will change it forever.

This is the story of two worlds, embodied by two women who are almost the antitheses of the cultures they represent: Selana cha'Nirrev, a female soldier in a man's world, and Tarisa Kanlari, assassin/bodyguard to the Queen who united nine kingdoms to defeat a madman. It is a story of gods and men and the struggle between the ultimate Light and Dark, and what happens when the world stuck in the middle decides it no longer wants to be a pawn in such games.

Savitera is an alliance of nine kingdoms and seven Free Cities, brought together by a civil war just ending as the surprise envoy appears. The kingdoms share a history and a religion in the worship of the thirteen gods of the Court, who have been known to walk the lands. The Empire of Dharrhéann is completely different - a harsh, desert land, ruled by one man, whose word *is* the word of God.

The world of Sebrita was created jointly by me and a very good friend; we share the writing of the main plot arc, while working separately on the histories of the two countries involved. We have over three thousand years of known history affecting the storyline, from the founding of both countries and before.

Along with the main storyline, I am working on a prequel, entitled Shadow's Secret. Set in Savitera, this is Tarisa's story, and that of her Queen, Andrei, and their struggle to defeat the aforementioned madman.
